Have you worked with slub canvas before? Slub canvas is a type of cotton fabric that has a rough, uneven texture and a few small lumps and flaws. These lumps are the result of an operation performed on the cotton before weaving, during which the cotton was twisted, resulting in the creation of uneven twists. It's perfect for making a tote bag that can stand up to some wear and tear.
The kit includes three different Slub Canvas Fabrics (cream colored fabrics as shown in the second picture) so you have flexibility in deciding which fabric design gets used for the Upper Exterior, Bottom Contrast/Straps, and Lining. The yardage also allows for fussy cutting the exterior pocket pieces to match Upper Exterior of tote if desired. The kit also includes the pattern. Decor Bond (sold separately) is recommended or you can choose a different stabilizer.
