Youth Camp
Learn to Sew with Us this Summer during Youth Camp!
This summer we’ve got a collection of projects that are right on trend. While learning to use a sewing machine, students will be making four projects:
- a Dog Stuffie (he looks a lot like a squismallow)
- Decorating a sweatshirt with a quilt block
- Coasters or a trivet made from rope
- Trinket Tray
In addition to learning to use a sewing machine, students will also learn:
- How to sew with Cuddle
- Sewing with a 1/4" seam
- Quilt as you Go
- Topstitching and decorative stitches
- Fusible applique
- Sewing with rope
Camp is open to students ages 8-15. No sewing experience required.
Registration fee is $199 and includes all supplies, patterns, 12 hours of instruction time, and use of a Baby Lock Sewing Machine. Students will also receive a personalized project tote and sewing supplies to use for the week and take home to continue their sewing adventure.
Student will need to bring a sweatshirt or tote bag to attach their quilt block too. They could use a t-shirt but we are concerned it will drape strangely due to the weight of the quilt block, but it's up to you.
