Learn to Sew Level 2: Checkered Pillows

Have you completed learn to sew and wondering what’s next? Learn to Sew Level 2 is the perfect next step.
In this class, you'll create a set of pillow covers to fit an 18" pillow form. You'll sew strips of fabric and then with a little cutting and sewing back together you'll end up with two similar but unique pillow covers. You'll use the sewing skills you've already learned and add some new ones to your repertoire:
- Inserting a zipper into a pillow back
- How and when to adjust stitch length
- How to keep fabric strips from curving
The $35 class fee includes five hours of instruction time, printed pattern, and use of the Baby Lock Brilliant Sewing Machine and tools. You will also need to purchase fabric and supplies at the start of class. You are encouraged to arrive 15-30 minutes early to have amble time to browse and select your fabric. To give you an idea additional supplies for class will cost approximately $20-35. Your cost will vary based on fabrics selected.
Previous enrollment in Learn to Sew is not required. However you should have some experience using a sewing machine.
