Advanced Youth Camp: Throw Quilt
Advanced Youth Sewing is our invitation only class for students (ages 8-15) who have a good handle on the basics and are ready to tackle a more involved project. You’ll create the project from start to finish, selecting your own fabrics, cutting, and sewing while learning new skills along the way.
During this camp, you'll be making a throw quilt you can cuddle up under. You'll be piecing the quilt top, quilting the three layers (top, batting, and backing), and finishing the edge with a binding. We want this to be a quilt you'll love, so you will be selecting your own fabric. Fabric must be selected by Saturday, July 13 to give us some time to precut the fabric so you can get right to sewing on August 12.
The camp fee of $250 includes the pattern, fabric, batting, thread, storage box, use of a sewing machine, and four days of instruction.
